In the 1960s, our great-grandfather, Franz Imesch, opened the guesthouse Imesch. In the simple and modestly furnished rooms, the guests found a warm bed with running water - that was not a matter of course. At that time, the showers were still on the floors.

In 1973, our grandparents, Johann & Edith Imesch-Reidy, opened the Hotel Elite, where the guesthouse was also integrated. It had 50 rooms with a total of 110 beds.

In 2021, Johann had to step down after almost 50 years as host for health reasons and handed over the reins to us, Sven & Yannick Kürzinger. As newly minted young hoteliers, we only had a short familiarisation period in these difficult Covid 19 times, but we used it, to work out a new concept - the motto was quickly found: "Experience time in the mountains and bring guests closer to nature". This combination also gave rise to the new hotel name "Mountime".

In December 2022, a new chapter began for a hotel rich in tradition. Visit us and become part of what we hope will continue to be an exciting story!
